(Warwick, RI) -- Warwick Police say a suspect is in custody in connection with a stabbing at a convenience store. The stabbing happened around 4:45 p.m. yesterday at the Conimicut Variety Store on West Shore Road. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities say it appears the victim was targeted as he knows the suspect.
