NO PLACE FOR NAPOLEON JUSTICE

Much has been said about President Donald Trump and his relationship with women. In the wake of White House Staff Secretary Rob Porter’s ouster amidst allegations of domestic violence by his two ex-wives, speechwriter David Sorensen has also resigned after his ex-wife said he allegedly burned her with cigarettes and ran over her foot with his vehicle. Porter and Sorensen vehemently deny the allegations.

And then, President Trump took to Twitter, not to support the women, but to call for due process for the accused. “Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation,” he wrote. “Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused – life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?” I'm sure the President's message was there's no place for Napoleon Justice...meaning guilty until proven innocent...but you gotta know by not showing open support for the women in his tweet, he's going to face a lot of criticism especially if the allegations are proven to be true.
