Parkland Survivor Accuses CNN of Scripting Town Hall Question - CNN is denying it scripted a question for one of the Parkland, Florida shooting survivors for its Town Hall.
Colton Haab says he pulled out of the CNN “Town Hall” program this week because they wanted to script his question. The teen, how helped get other students to safety during the shooting last week, was asked to submit a question to a CNN producer and ended up giving her a long speech and questions which had to do with arming security guards. According to Haab, he was then sent a question that the network framed and asked to stick to the script.
CNN has denied the allegation saying "There is absolutely no truth to this. CNN did not provide or script questions for anyone in last night's town hall, nor have we ever."
At this point, no other student has said they were scripted.
