(Woonsocket, RI) -- A Woonsocket Middle School at Hamlet student is facing a disorderly conduct charge for jokingly yelling "school shooter." The comment by the 14-year-old student was made the same day that ammunition was found in a boy's bathroom at the school. A teacher heard the girl's shout Friday and reported it to police. The girl, accompanied by her parents surrendered to police Tuesday and was released pending a future court date.
