(Seekonk, MA) -- A pair of chicken thieves is facing grand larceny and animal cruelty charges in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Police say an officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked near a farm on Newman Avenue around 1 a.m. yesterday. As the officer was talking with the man and woman in the car he noticed a backpack moving and feathers flying. Inside were seven chickens, which were returned to the owner.
