(Providence, RI) -- A Pawtucket woman who was hit by a car in Providence a few days ago is dead. Police say Frances Rushlow was struck around six p.m. Friday as she crossed Smithfield Avenue near Colfax Street. The driver, identified as Derrick Santos of Pawtucket, stayed at the scene and was cited. Investigators say the victim wasn't in a crosswalk, and poor weather conditions were factor in the accident.
