(Providence, RI) -- A shooting victim is fighting for his life and police have a suspect in custody. Providence Police say the shooting occurred around 7 p.m. yesterday at Douglas Avenue and Lancashire Street when the 25-year-old victim intervened in an argument involving his girlfriend. He was shot in the back and taken to the hospital, where he's in critical condition. Authorities have arrested 20-year-old Alaxandero Brown on multiple charges.
