(Woonsocket, RI) -- Authorities say the owner of a home in Woonsocket is facing multiple animal cruelty charges. A number of animals were found to be living in squalid conditions at the home on Cottage Street last night. Animal control officers seized 17 dogs, including newborn puppies, and chickens. Several dead chickens and a piglet were also found in the home.
