(Providence, RI) -- Tolls for large commercial trucks on Rhode Island highways are being delayed again. Rhode Island Department of Transportation director Peter Alviti Jr. said during testimony in the state House on Thursday that he now expects toll collections to start by the end of May, according to a "Providence Journal" report. RIDOT had most recently indicated the tolls would begin in March. State officials are still testing two electronic tolls that were installed on Interstate 95 in February.
