It's been nearly a year-and-a-half since President Trump  beat Hillary Clinton and Clinton holds no public office and isn't expected to run for office again, but AP reports that Republicans still plan to use attacks on her as a significant part of their strategy for the midterm elections this fall.

The GOP is counting on Republicans' hatred of Clinton to drive them to the polls, and so she will be the villain in attack ads against vulnerable Democrats across the county. Corry Bliss, who heads a Republican superPAC called the Congressional Leadership Fund, told AP, "I promise you that you’ll continue to see it Hillary Clinton starring in our paid media. She’s a very powerful motivator. It’s about what she represents. What she represents, just like what House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi represents, is out-of-touch far-left liberal positions."

Hillary Clinton...the GOP's human pinata.
