(Providence, RI) -- Former Providence School Board member and superintendent Robert DeRobbio is formally stepping into the race for Providence mayor. DeRobbio is challenging incumbent Jorge Elorza in the Democratic primary this September, joining two other candidates. He said his campaign will focus heavily on reforming education in the city.
