(Providence, RI) -- Governor Gina Raimondo is well ahead of her opponents running for election this year in the campaign fundraising department. Raimondo's campaign announced on Monday she raised roughly one-point-three-million dollars in the first quarter this year, which is over a million dollars more than the closest Republican candidate, Allan Fung. Raimondo now has nearly four-and-a-half-million dollars in her re-election war chest, according to Board of Elections filings.
