(Providence, RI) -- A Boston man is being found guilty of robbery and firearm charges. Attorney General Peter Kilmartin announced on Thursday that Gregory Hampton-Boyd was convicted by a Providence County Superior Court jury on charges of first-degree robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon and several other related counts following a week-long trial. Prosecutors said Hampton-Boyd approached a male last year outside Club Masherrati in Providence, demanded a gold chain he was wearing, and then shot the victim three times when he refused to give him the chain.
