Brown Making Dining Adjustment For Poorer Students

(Providence, RI)  --  Brown University is launching two new measures in the 2018-2019 school year to ensure students with the highest financial need have sufficient funds for full meal plans. The school will provide all undergraduates who have a zero-dollar parent contribution with additional scholarship funds to cover the full cost of tuition, fees, housing and meals, according to a press release last week. Brown will also run a one-year pilot program to cover textbook costs for first-year undergrads with the zero-dollar contribution.
