(Pawtucket, RI) -- The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is announcing the schedule for the closure and rehabilitation of the Pine Street Bridge in Pawtucket. RIDOT says the structurally deficient bridge is being supported by wooden timbers and must be completely replaced. The bridge, which carries northbound traffic over the Interstate 95 corridor, will close on Sunday night, June 10th and will remain closed for four months. The department plans on temporary traffic pattern changes on I-95 at Exit 27 and also plans on some overnight closures for the highway at that same exit next month.
