Providence Man Sentenced For 2016 Shooting Death

(Providence, RI)  --  A Providence man is pleading guilty to manslaughter and other charges in connection to a 2016 death.  "The Providence Journal" reports 21-year-old David Deleon was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Thursday in Superior Court for shooting his friend, 21-year-old Dakota Gosselin, at a drunken party and then trying to cover up the crime by burning the body in a field in Lincoln.  The Attorney General's Office dropped a murder charge in exchange for the plea.
