High Levels Of Bacteria At State Beach

(Warwick, RI)  --  The Rhode Island Department of Health is recommending the closure of Goddard State Beach in Warwick for swimming because of high bacteria counts. The department says water quality analysis will be conducted. You can get up-to-date information on when swimming will be allowed again by calling the RIDOH beach telephone line at 401-222-2751.
