(Smithfield, RI) -- A woman is facing driving under the influence charges for allegedly going the wrong way on Interstate 295. Janina Ramos Depina of East Providence was arrested by Smithfield police after reportedly being observed going north on I-295 south overnight Monday. Police reports indicate Depina stated she believed she was in Georgia when she was stopped for field sobriety tests. Police say Depina refused chemical testing and was charged with possession of marijuana.
