A SUMMER OF MISCONTENT

As we head towards the July 4th holiday, the divisiveness across the fruited plain is starting to raise concern, at least to a new survey. Nearly a third of U-S voters think the nation may experience civil war in the next five years. That breaks down to around 37% of Democrats and 32% of Republicans. According to the Rasmussen poll, more than half think a civil war in unlikely, with only 27% of those who say it is not at all likely. Nearly 60% think President Trump's policies could lead to violence. By the way,  it was a similar number who thought the same thing back during Barack Obama's first term in office.
