RIDOT Moving Forward With More Tolls

(Undated)  --  Despite a lawsuit being filed against the first two, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation is asking for public comment for another ten truck tolls.  RIDOT on Thursday announced the posting of its environmental assessment for the toll locations on I-95, I-295, U.S. Route 6, and Rhode Island Route 146 in nine cities and towns.  The report concludes the tolls will present minimal or zero environmental negative impacts.  Public hearings are being scheduled in Warwick, Providence and Central Falls on July 27th.
