(West Greenwich, RI) -- Crews have cleaned up a hazardous material spill in West Greenwich. A chemical spill was reported at the Cranston Trucking Company at around 9 p.m. Wednesday after workers accidentally punctured a barrel that released a corrosive chemical. The substance was deemed not a threat to the public. Fire officials say one person suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
