GOP candidate for governor Allan Fung released portions of a poll he conducted this month showing him putting the big hurt on his republican primary opponents Patricia Morgan and Giovanni Feroce. The Public Opinion Strategies poll shows Fung leading Morgan 62% to 22% with Feroce scoring a measly 4% and 10% undecided. Feroce's reaction to the Pro-Jo was curious saying 'my campaign has been one of deliberate strategy of staying in third place until all candidates have been identified for the ballot. My next step is to surpass Rep Morgan by mid August and then focus on Mr. Fung. I'm confident in our get out the vote strategy and the momentum of our campaign. You will see a dramatic differences come late August." Well, Feroce's strategy of staying in third place certainly has worked...we'll see about phase two come August.
