(Undated) -- The state is telling people to avoid contact with two bodies of water because of blue-green algae blooms. They are the Roosevelt Lake portion of the Roger Williams Ponds and Mashapaug Pond in Providence. The Rhode Island Department of Health is adding the beach at Larkin Pond Campground in Kingston to its current list of places where swimming is off-limits due to high bacteria counts.
