(Woonsocket, RI) -- State police say a wanted fugitive from Louisiana is under arrest. James Santos of Shreveport was picked up on Friday on a Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for attempted second-degree murder, armed robbery and kidnapping. The charges stem from a July 20th shooting incident in Shreveport, according to state police. Santos was arrested in a Woonsocket apartment by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, the U.S. Marshals Service and Woonsocket police.
