(Providence, RI) -- A real estate company led by former Providence Mayor Joe Paolino is being approved to purchase the federal building in downtown Providence. Paolino Properties says it will buy the Westminster Street property for nine-and-a-half-million dollars. The building houses the IRS, Housing and Urban Development, Social Security Administration, the U.S. Secret Service and the federal bankruptcy court.
