(Boston, MA) -- Former Rhode Island mobster Robert "Bobby" DeLuca is being sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison for obstructing a federal investigation into the murder of Boston nightclub owner Stephen DiSarro. Federal prosecutors say DeLuca, who pleaded guilty in 2016, lied about his knowledge of DiSarro's disappearance and other murders connected to the New England La Cosa Nostra crime family. DiSarro, who disappeared in 1993, wasn't found until March 2016, when his remains were discovered in Providence. Francis "Cadillac Frank" Salemme [[ suh-LEM-ee ]] and Paul Weadick were convicted of murdering DiSarro in June.
