(Providence, RI) -- Governor Gina Raimondo was absent from a debate featuring Democratic candidates for governor on Tuesday. WPRI-TV hosted the debate between challengers Matt Brown and Spencer Dickinson. Raimondo has thus far declined all invitations to debate her two primary opponents. Republican candidates for governor Patricia Morgan and Giovanni Feroce, minus frontrunner Allan Fung, held their first debate last week, but all three are scheduled to get together at the end of this month.
