(Warwick, RI) -- The memorial rock honoring a Warwick high school student who died last year is looking better after community members cleaned up the work of a vandal. Gianna Cirella, a soccer goalie at Toll Gate High School, died at the age of 16 after battling an infection. Her teammates and others finished restoring the memorial on Tuesday, a day after the rock was discovered with white paint dumped on it. School officials are looking into installing surveillance cameras to prevent future incidents.
