(Vienna) -- A European company is announcing the purchase of the remaining intellectual property of the failed 38 Studios video game company. Austria-based THQ Nordic GmbH on Wednesday purchased the rights to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the only game released by 38 Studios, the Amalur franchise and unfinished Project Copernicus massive multi-player online game, for a total of 900-thousand dollars, according to a court-appointed receiver. The proceeds will go toward paying down Rhode Island's debt from the 75-million-dollar guaranteed loan for 38 Studios in 2010.
