(East Greenwich, RI) -- East Greenwich Town Manager Gayle Corrigan is facing an ethics complaint. The Rhode Island Ethics Commission is concluding there is probable cause to the complaint that was filed against her last December, which claimed she hired her business associate as the town's finance director and then acted as a supervisor. Corrigan has had previous issues, including fighting with the town's firefighter union over a restructuring proposal and a judge's ruling last year that indicated her original town manager appointment was a violation of open meeting laws.
