(Providence, RI) -- In noteworthy General Assembly races yesterday, Democratic Providence Representative Moira Walsh defeated Michael Earnheart. The race garnered significant attention because Earnheart, a supporter of President Trump, earned the Rhode Island Democratic Party's endorsement over Walsh. Representative Ramon Perez, who held embattled former Providence and Johnston rep John Carnevale's seat, was one of only three incumbents to lose their races yesterday, going down to Mario Mendez.
