(Providence, RI) -- The Rhode Island Senate is extending an invitation for the public to attend its seventh-annual Education Summit today. Senators Hanna Gallo and Harold Metts, who lead the Senate Education Committee, are hosting the event from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the Department of Administration. The plan is titled "21st Century Education for a 21st Century Workforce." There are three sessions, including learning about the benefits of multi-lingualism, art on student performance and the economy, as well as the topic of science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
