(Undated) -- The National Weather Service says uncertainty remains where the axis of heaviest rains from the remnants of Hurricane Florence will occur this week in New England. Forecasters said Sunday night that the risk of localized flooding anywhere across the region can't be ruled out, but the greatest risk for flash-flooding currently appears to be across northern Massachusetts. Still, the weather service says two to three inches of rain could fall in the northern half of Rhode Island and one-to-two inches in the southern half on Tuesday.
