Two Primary Races Upheld After Recounts

(Providence, RI)  --  The results of two primary election races are being upheld after recounts were conducted by the Rhode Island Board of Elections.  The Providence Journal reports the board has found no changes in its initial results in the races for state Senate District 5 and House District 64.  State Senator Paul Jabour lost to challenger Samuel Bell by 176 votes, while David O'Connell lost to Jose Serodio by just 12 votes in the House race.
