Man Sentenced For Accidental Fatal Shooting

(Providence, RI)  --  A Providence man is being sentenced to 35 years in prison for a fatal shooting.  The Rhode Island Attorney General's office says Jose Morales entered a no-contest plea to a second-degree murder charge on Monday in Superior Court.  Police reports indicated Morales was making a rap video in June of 2016 when the action got disrupted by a rival group, leading to him pulling out a gun and firing, but accidentally hitting Stewart in the head.  Stewart was a former Providence high school basketball player.
