(Providence, RI) -- A construction worker was rescued after being trapped by a collapsed structure in Providence yesterday afternoon. Providence fire officials say a foundation wall in a basement on DePasquale Avenue was being worked on when it collapsed at around 1:30 p.m. The victim was reportedly freed after over an hour of rescue efforts and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
