(Providence, RI) -- Providence night club Ultra is being ordered to remain closed by the city's board of licenses following a weekend shooting. The Providence Journal reports Associate City Solicitor Mario Martone asked for the club to remain closed until October 10th while police investigate the shooting at an emergency licensing board hearing on Monday. The board had originally authorized a 72-hour closure of the club on Pine Street after the shooting on Saturday night, which left one man injured.
