(Undated) -- A minister from Portsmouth who was accused last month of using a credit card stolen from a guest at a wedding is facing new charges. James Stern is alleged by Middletown police to have stolen cash and cards from a locker at the Newport County YMCA last month, and he was picked up on Tuesday by Westerly police for allegedly committing larceny at the Ocean Community YMCA, according to a report from The Newport Daily News. Stern has previously been arraigned on the wedding ceremony larceny charges. He is scheduled to make a court appearance on the new charges on Friday.
