(Undated) -- November has been a very wet month in Rhode Island, and 2018 has been a very wet year. Following Monday's rain, the National Weather Service has tallied ten-and-a-half inches of precipitation in Providence for this month, which is the second-highest total since record-keeping began, only behind the eleven inches received in November of 1983. No additional wet weather is forecast until December, so this will remain the second-wettest autumn ever with about 24-and-a-half inches of precip, less than an inch behind the record set in 2005. And, so far, this is the third-wettest year ever.
