While a lot of people may be cheery since it’s the holiday season, there are plenty of people not thrilled by the cold weather upon us. In fact, there are tons of folks who deal with something called the winter blues.
A new poll finds that 57% of Americans claim they’ve experienced the winter blues multiple times, and when asked how they feel in the winter, 39% said “bored” and another 24% said “miserable.” People hate winter so much that the average American will complain about it to themselves or someone else five times a season, translating into 450 total complaints during winter.
So, what do people hate most about winter? Well, the top response is cold hands and toes, followed by runny noses. Other things people hate include:

And it turns out a lot of folks have found at least one way to avoid all the annoying things that come with winter. Apparently 20% of people will spend between 16 and 24 hours inside their home every day during the winter season
