(Providence, RI) -- The Providence City Council is setting a meeting to consider overriding a veto from Mayor Jorge Elorza on a requested zoning ordinance change needed for the proposed Fane Tower. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Elorza vetoed the ordinance adjustment that would allow the six-hundred-foot proposed luxury apartment tower to be built in an area where buildings normally can't be taller than one-hundred feet. At least one city councilor will have to change their position from the previous vote that sent the zoning variance to Elorza's desk.
