(Providence, RI)  --  A special election is being scheduled for the Rhode Island House seat made available once again after the state representative-elect said he wouldn't be sworn in.  The Rhode Island Secretary of State's office publicized on Monday that the special election for House District 68, which includes parts of Bristol and Warren, will take place on March 5th.  Laufton Ascencao turned in a resignation letter after a controversy surfaced regarding his false claims of putting out a mailer in support of local candidates.  Those interested in running have just over two weeks to file.
