(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Island legislative leaders are trying to keep Hasbro in Rhode Island. Following a closed-door meeting yesterday between Governor Gina Raimondo, House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello and Senate President Dominick Ruggerio, they issued a joint statement saying Hasbro is a global company with global options in a changing industry, and that they will work together as Hasbro has acknowledged it is looking at its options for its headquarters. Pawtucket Mayor Don Grebien says the loss of the toy company would be a devastating economic blow for the city.
