(Newport, RI) -- Newport parents get the chance to talk with the superintendent following a violent incident at Thompson Middle School. Two students were arrested last week after police say they attacked another student with a baseball bat. The father of both boys said they were just defending themselves against a bully. He also says they're still suspended from school. The 14-year-old victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries.
