(Brockton, MA) -- A Providence man is being sentenced to state prison in Massachusetts for marijuana trafficking. Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz says a jury convicted Michael Chen on Wednesday, and he was sentenced to between two and two-and-a-half years behind bars. Wareham Police received a call from the shipping company Cape Cod Express in December of 2017 after they reportedly received several suspicious crates. Police reportedly found over one-hundred vacuum-sealed bricks of marijuana, and said the package was addressed to Chen, who came to pick it up before being arrested.
