(Providence, RI)--Governor Gina Raimondo signed an executive order yesterday establishing an official target for health care spending growth in the state.The governor's office says the target is three-point-two-percent annual growth through the year 2022.In what she says is part of ongoing efforts to control health care costs for taxpayers, businesses and patients, Raimondo says setting the target establishes accountability for the health care industry.
