(North Providence, RI)--A sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a North Providence police officer is being settled. An attorney representing the town says Lieutenant Diana Perez was awarded a 150-thousand-dollar sum.Perez, who was hired in 2004, had filed a lawsuit against the police department's former acting chief and deputy chief and Mayor Charles Lombardi in 2016 alleging inappropriate comments from officers and retaliation for speaking out about the issue
