(Providence, RI)--Legislation is being filed to include pets in domestic protective orders in Rhode Island.State Senate President Dominick Ruggerio and Representative William O'Brien have filed the bill to expand Family Court jurisdiction.Ruggerio says there is a strong correlation between domestic abuse and animal abuse.
