Hillary Clinton is making it official: she will not run for president in 2020. She tells New York's News 12 that she’s ruling out another presidential bid and instead plans to take an "active role" by working with fellow Democratic candidates who are running.
But just because she’s out…doesn’t mean she’s gone. The former first lady, senator and secretary of state vowed to do everything she can to help Democrats win back the White House. Clinton says she’s deeply troubled “about the state of American politics today” – and vowed to be vocal about those concerns. She notes, “I’m not going anywhere.”
Of course, that turns the attention to the already crowded field of Democrats…and the question of will Joe Biden throw his hat in…or not? While there are plenty of rumors that he’s “in.” The more official word is that he’ll reveal his decision next month.
- Meanwhile…Billionaire Mark Cuban says hemightrun for president, if the circumstances are right. The Dallas Mavericks owner tells the “New York Daily News” that he still hasn't decidedanything yet as far as the 2020 election goes. He added that a bid for the White House isn't something he feels like he has to do, and would only run if he thinks he can provide real solutions to the country's problems. Cuban also said that if he ran, it would be as an independent.
