(Newport, RI)--A youth tennis instructor from Newport is facing child pornography charges.A statement from Rhode Island State Police does not provide more details on the nature of the arrest of Thomas Gallagher, as the investigation is ongoing.Police do say Gallagher has been employed as a tennis instructor at the Spouting Rock Beach Association, known as Bailey's Beach Club, and was a substitute teacher and youth tennis coach at Saint Michael's Country Day School in Newport.He was also employed as a youth tennis coach for the Newport Recreation Department previously, according to police.
